My husband and I have lived at Tanglewood for 4 years now, and if that doesn't say it alone...WE LOVE IT HERE! It is absolutely beautiful and they are always adding and accommodating for our needs. The apartments are a little on the older side, but you never have to ask more than once anytime you need anything replaced or fixed! The staff is very friendly and things are pretty quiet and, for Austin, the price is reasonable. So, a BIG pat on the back and 2 thumbs WAY up for Mission Tanglewood! Thanks for making our last 4 years Austintastic!

I have lived here over a year and I really enjoy it. Good neighbors and the office staff is super friendly and helpful. Maint is quick to get here and take care of things. I have never wanted to renew my lease before with any apartment I have lived in. If I can afford my new lease I will very much renew my lease.

I'm a senior citizen been residing here WAY over 10 years. my carpet has only been replaced once; my walls painted once. i was told every time i asked could we refresh, they said I would be required to move everything I own myself out to my breezeway so that contractors could come "slap" down carpet/paint. the one time it WAS painted/carpet here we moved things to center of room-did one side laying carpet-then moved things over. I have no one now to help me move things nor money to hire it done. Recently after I complained again I was finally told when I was ready to have new carpet put down, etc, we'd "work" something out to help me pull everything I own out to the breezeway. It's been years, years since carpet/paint has been done and just what I want....my things sitting outside for who knows how long with insects and whatever possibly embedding in my couch/bed and things. I still have to box/take everything out of closets/storage/shelves,etc by myself....bleak part of living here so long!! Am I a valued tenant? Well, not sure how long one has to complain about something that is done every time someone moves in/out of an apt....new carpet/paint,etc is done. Is it simple to put down carpet with things left inside perhaps in center of room and move to other side, no. But can it be done, of course - it was done once many years ago the only time I have had my carpet changed. It is a problem when a person gets older, doesn't move or have ability to do that and someone doesn't understand how difficult it is for me to "move" everything outside myself.

We appreciate you making Mission Tanglewood your home for well over 10 years. I will be more than happy to have your carpet replaced and your apartment painted but it will require some of your personal effects to be packed up to ensure they are not damaged in the process. As for the large items such as living room and bedroom furniture they will move it from room to room while they install the carpet. Usually it is not necessary to move items outside unless they cannot fit it in another area of the apartment. I can schedule a time where a representative from the carpet company to come and walk your apartment home with you so that you are fully aware of the process. As for the painting the contract company will cover everything in plastic sheeting so that your personal items to not get paint on them. the apartments are nice. maintnence is very good and quick also. I've lived here for almost 5 months already and have never had any type of problems with the community nor the apartment itself. Outside there is some normal litter but other than that is nice. the appliances inside the apartment would be my only concern. They are old and dont really work. have had problems with both the stove and the refridgerator. The pool is always dirty and full of leaves and the gym equiptment is old and most of it doesnt work. Overall its a good place to live but they just need to fix up the amenities a bit.

As for the fitness center we have recently performed repairs to several pieces of equipment as well as entered into a quarterly maintenance agreement with a vendor to make sure they stay in working condition. If you ever have an issue with the equipment please contacts the leasing office and we will have someone out to service the machines. The swimming pool is a challenge due to the many trees that we have at the pool area and we are constantly cleaning the pool. If you ever visit the pool and it needs extra attention please come into the office and we will have it taken care of right away. I appreciate your honesty and candid feedback. This was a great place for my first apartment. I wouldn't move back in though. Management didn't seem to care about timely responses to maintenance requests or resident issues. The location is good - close enough to downtown by still far enough away that you don't have to experience the crowds and traffic.

I have lived here for 3 years... I love this place... Love Love Love my apartment... When C***** owned it, things would take forever to get done.. T***** was nice (very sexy!!) I miss her... Y****** was kind, but you could tell she didn't want to be here.. But I miss her... I think the new girl C***** is pretty freaking Awesome... I don't see how anyone could say negative things about her... She's not a moron at all, and she is always nice to me! You must have been rude to her or wanted something that she couldn't give you, so you got mad!.. or you just wanted her!... You can tell she has a huge heart! Great personality! M******* is so nice and friendly.. Very funny. I love her laugh!!!.. She has been here, for a very long time... Always willing to talk to me, answer my questions, put my work orders in... I have to admit, it wouldn't be the same without her! The new guy, I haven't really met him so I can't say anything! He seems nice. I haven't seen any crime around here and I feel very safe. They have an officer that lives here In fact, he's right around the corner from me. That makes me feel good!! The last thing I have to say is, don't listen to the negative, they are just mad because the office team won't bend the rules for them. Pretty Pitiful. This place is the shizzle and I don't care what anyone says!

I have been living here for a two years and i am ready to sign another lease! i love this place especially the office personal! They are the main reason i am willing to resign for another year! The location is perfect everything is within walking distance...the previous comments made about office personal are completely untrue have never had anything but great relationship with all office personal. I love living here! I've been here for a year and a half and it's so convenient. It's close to everything and right by the bus stop. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They listen to you and maintenance is great. If anything needs fixed or replaced, they're on it. And the price is so reasonable for the location. The apartments are older, but they've just been repainted and rennovated so that they're kept in great shape!

My neighbors are looking out for me, and I'm looking out for them, but we're not exactly chatty. There's an awesome apartment manager and a complete moron (C*****), so try and talk to the dude as much as possible. Honestly, I have not heard more people in complete agreement than the general consensus that C***** is the dumbest woman to have responsibility in a company. The location is good, it's a wee bit overpriced but the maintenance crew makes it worth it. Pools are nice, having a washer and dryer is outrageously spiffy. It's a good place to be, just barrel through the idiocy of C***** and it's definitely worth it. I do love my apartment.

I would just like to say that I have been living here for almost a year now and I have had nothing but great experiences with this apartment complex. Management, maintenance, the apartment itself, the pools, new fitness center, have all been very nice. Extremely pet friendly. I would also like to add that one of my favorite things about this company is the young lady at the front desk that is always super positive, up beat, professional, and on top of any requests or complaints. I would also like to add that I think it is in extremely poor taste to use real names and personally insult another individual in their work space. Very poor taste.

I thought that this was the greatest apartment when I first moved to Austin. Then I had to deal with the office about a money issue. It no longer became the best place, because of their unwillingness to work with their "valued residents"... Then it came to my move out deposit. After not getting a response from the office in the time frame they provided me with, they charged me $30 for carpet cleaning & $75 general cleaning... Which they let me know they charge all residents. If you plan on moving here plan on not getting $105 of your REFUNDABLE deposit back, b/c "that's what they charge everyone". Not to mention that I left this apartment in twice as good as condition as it was in when I moved in. A word to the wise take pictures IF you move into a apartment in Mission.
